The Game

The UK Space Agency wants to scoop a sample from the surface of the Sun, and they have turned to the British public for a name for this epic mission. They then hurriedly renamed it to the Sir David Attenborough II.

• WASD keyboard controls

Development

We made Scoopy as a submission for the October 2021 Adaptive Music Jam without really any plan, other than to mess about learning how FMOD Studio works.

Gameplay wise it's very simple, fly along a track, trying to stay in the waypoints.

There are a number of music layers that are blended based on the player's distance to the track and their distance to the Sun.

We plan to post a video discussion of the project after the jam.
